The Children's Museum of Montgomery is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and community-minded students to join our 2026 Summer Museum Ambassador Internship Program.

This unique opportunity offers hands-on experience in museum operations, STEAM education, event management, marketing, and nonprofit leadership—all while helping inspire the next generation of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers.
 

As a Museum Ambassador, you won't spend your summer filing papers or making coffee. You'll welcome families, facilitate engaging activities, support exciting exhibits, assist with special events, create social media content, and help bring learning to life for children throughout the River Region.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking motivated students ages 16–24 who are dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about serving others. No museum experience is required—just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for working with children and families.
 

Limited Positions Available

Only three Museum Ambassador positions are available for Summer 2026.

1. VISITOR EXPERIENCE AMBASSADOR

• Welcome museum guests

• Assist families

• Support exhibits and events

• Learn customer service and hospitality
   

2. STEAM EDUCATION AMBASSADOR

• Facilitate hands-on activities

• Assist with STEM projects

• Support workshops and camps

• Build teaching and leadership skills
   

3. MEDIA & EVENTS AMBASSADOR

• Capture photos and video

• Create social media content

• Assist with marketing campaigns

• Support special events
