Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking the Children’s Museum of Montgomery(CMM) Mobile Slime Lab. Our goal is to provide a fun, hands-on STEM experience for children while ensuring clear expectations for hosts and participants. By booking a Mobile Slime Lab experience, you agree to the following policies. Booking & Deposit Policy A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your event date and time. Bookings are confirmed only after the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the start of the program. Accepted payment methods may include: • Online payment • Invoice payment • Cash or approved digital payment Failure to submit the deposit may result in the requested date being released to other clients. Cancellation Policy Because event dates are limited and reserved in advance, the following cancellation terms apply: 14+ days before event Client may reschedule the event for a future available date within 90 days. Deposit will be applied to the new date. 7–13 days before event Deposit is forfeited but event may be rescheduled once within 60 days, subject to availability. Less than 7 days before event Deposit is forfeited and rescheduling is not guaranteed. Refund Policy The $100 deposit is non-refundable. Refunds are generally not issued once a booking has been confirmed because materials, staffing, and scheduling preparations are made in advance. If the CMM must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered: • A full refund OR a rescheduled date. Rescheduling Policy Clients may request to reschedule an event with at least 14 days notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the event may incur an additional $50 rescheduling fee. Setup Requirements The host is responsible for providing: • Tables and chairs for participants • Adequate indoor or shaded outdoor space • Access to basic cleaning supplies if available The Mobile Slime Lab team will bring all required slime materials and activity supplies. Setup typically requires 15–20 minutes prior to the event. Safety & Supervision Adult supervision is required at all times. Teachers, parents, or event hosts are responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior and assisting with participant management. While slime ingredients used are generally safe for children, participants should avoid ingesting slime materials and wash hands after the activity.
